Aloha,
we would like to thank the paddling community for its support. After years of covering events and crossings in Hawaii, Time Warner has supported us in creating a new TV show dedicated to the sport, lifestyle and culture relating to paddling.
Ocean Paddler TV will premiere this Tuesday, April 22nd at 6:30 PM on OC-16 in Hawaii. The show will air on average 10 times per week and we are planning to start showing the program in SoCal and mainland in the next coming months.

within the next month.
We will also need ocpaddler.com's input on the show and see if this is something that could possibly be embedded here under the 'video' section.
We appreciate this forum and the opportunity we have to spread the word about our program.
Please let us know what everyone's opinion is - positive or negative - it will help in guiding our content.

I'm gearing up for lot's of footage from the Hamilton Cup. Good chance i might have POV Cams on some of the top Hawaiian paddlers as well, both OC1 and OC6.
I'm raising funds locally at the moment for extra equipment to compliment what i have.

I think the show was the sh.....t. everything about it. I felt all pump when i saw the state race and watching the pros surf...it was like a surfing video rite before you go to the beach....you get all pump.......................

im so stoked on this show. mean clips from states. that stand up paddle is nutz. those waves were cranking. and i wanna try sailing canoes too those things fly.

This is a fabulous opportunity to showcase and promote our sport and honor it's cultural traditions. Hat's off to Hawaiian X for including OC in this project. I loved the show and look forward to the next episode.

Yeah the sup contest was great. The state race footage was really motivating. Some of the best ive seen. i hope they keep it going.

Ocean Paddler's normal TV schedule on OC-16 for prime time is:
Tuesday's at 6:30 PM
Thursday's at 10PM
Friday's at 9:30 PM
Sunday's at 3PM
+ another 5 repeats.
Please note some will be preempted for Live events.

The show was so unreal. Loved every bit of it. Great job Alex and team. Our community needs to show our support to keep it going. Who do I contact to get information on advertising?
It is about time someone did a quality show about our state sport. Lets help Alex and his team get the word out.

I agree with Thomas, we have to show our support for the show. I thought it was very well done, best I have ever seen. I enjoyed seeing all the different paddlling sports. I enjoyed how you tied in the cultural stuff at the end and the grafics were mean!
Right on Alex, you have done what no others have been able to do. I saw the names of the people who are on your team. Great folks. They know what they are doing. Kudo's to Dolan, Nakoa, Terri, Joss, your film crew, the host and all who are a part of this. I can't wait to see it again. My wife who doesnt paddle watched it with me and now she wants to get in to it.

Right on Kanu143. I was out in the channel yesterday and saw the helo's filming. I was told it was Ocean Paddler TV. This guy is on it and we all need to support it. I heard alot of good buzz in Molokai.

with 5 repeats during the week. Every month we will have a new show. Alex has done a wonderful job and as most of you know, he is the best at what he does. His show Hawaiian xtreme sports has been on air now for over 10 years!

I just got off the phone with Terry, who is the director of sales and marketing, she said a new show will air every month. Each month the show airs 40 times, so everyone can have a chance to watch it. If you look at kanu37 post it gives the repeats every week.

Aloha, Check if you have the water channel on direct TV, if so then you can start to watch the show in June. Once we go on air on direct tv we will update all the folks who have it.
