that's hilarious... poser for what? why would you want to be a paddler if you don't paddle? either you do or not. some guys are fast, some guys not so fast- most of the time it's directly related to how much they train... so what would be fronting about? how much you train? will you get the ladies jumping at you if you pretend to be a paddler?

and just who are YOU, oc paddlah? just another forum troll?

and where did you get all your vast paddling knowledge from? were you taught/told by others? or maybe you have Divine Inspiration.....

that reminds me of the a guy who was in my crew when we rowed our canoe across the molokai channel for a race. it was the blowing 50 knots with HUGE seas. it was right after the earthquake in Sumatra because as we were heading east to oahu, we caught some of those tsunami swells baby- at least 30 feet!!...

we were freaking out because our float kept popping up... on one wave i lost my paddle but luckily we had an extra one on the wooden spar so we didn't lose too much time.

we got on one wave that we rode for 1/2 mile- it was so big it tubed over the steerer and seat 6 had to help him control the canoe. it was the most memorable rowing experience of my life- i won't forget it.

Fuze is no poser. I don't think anyone's watching as he breaks through the ice in early spring 'cause he can't wait to get in that water! Dacho, you mean you lost your "oar". How many times have we heard people ask about our "rowing".

Being an actual paddler gets me very little except a smaller checking account and a lonely wife. People want to fake that?

#20 Thu, 05/01/2008 - 9:20am

There's way more than that. Ass rashes, raw hands, staph infections. There's all kinds of pluses to being a paddler.

So what do they do with the stolen ones? Sell them on ebay or craigslist? I knew there was a black market for kidneys, but this?

Everywhere I go, I drive around with my one man on my truck.

That's 9/10s of being a paddler. The other 1/10 is posting here.
