How far have you paddled?

I was checkin out http://www.ocpaddler.com/files/Outrigger-flyer.png and got to thinking about the expanding world of OC. At some point some grom (what do you call a young paddler, anyways) is gonna travel the world much like surfers do, just to paddle and/or compete all over the world. Im curious to know what is actually out there as an opportunity to paddle/travel now.

I regularly (every or every other weekend) drive from AZ to SoCal (350 - 425 miles each way) to race during OC1 and OC6 season.
Last year drove 180 miles each way at least once a week to paddle with Team AZ in Phoenix.
Fly to Hawaii at least twice a year to paddle.
Flown 1500 miles to Vancouver to paddle with Jericho OCC and visit family.
Fortunately when I'm paddling at home its only 5 miles to the beach.
Anywhere I'm going, first thing I check is the paddling.

Travelled from Sydney AUS to Frankfurt GER for work and found a great bunch of paddlers paddling on the rivers there. Had a good session with them. Will check out the locals wherever I go from now, as aside from location, we are all the same, with the same spirit and passion.

I paddled almost five miles once, but I was so dead after, I vowed to never go that far again.

I have averaged about 20 miles a week for the last 40 years so I think I have somewhere between 40,000 and 50,000 miles of paddling.
