OCP syndrome

How many of you find yourselves constently hovering around this site and refreshing it every 2 minutes to see if anything changed? Hope I'm not alone.

Been there, done that. The only cure is to load up the canoe and head out of the house.

Oh my god. I haven't even been paddling a year, was only recently told about this site, and I think I've watched every video, looked at every picture, and read all of the articles and most of the forum threads posted in the last month and a half. Maybe all. As a new paddler, it's been super helpful - sarcastic forum postings aside (although the humor keeps me coming back).

I like jibofo's idea.

Yea its crack, esp for us honeymoon of paddling folks. EVERY time I go out paddling I think of questions...leg drive, do you brace both feet or just the side your are paddling on? How much of the stroke should come from the top hand? Is there a suggested breath pattern (a big deal in Kettlebell lifting etc) Best route for a Catalina crossing etc, etc. Could drive an experienced paddler to suicide to listen to it... It sounds like stupidity but it is just excited enthusiam for this hobbie which has got me hooked. MOST of what you could want to know is burried in the archives but I really like to see new stuff. I have been checking the "outriggerchicks" site for months waiting for an update, looking for Rambos new video etc...crack for sure

I agree. Pure crack. Im another new 10 month paddler and this site has given me the crack I need in between paddling. I have to admit that I do sometimes wait for updates.
