Kanu37....

This segment was much better than the first one. I just got back from working out and the TV at the Gym was tuned to OC16 and Ocean Paddler was on. Great job.

This segment I could watch the paddlers catch and ride bumps. The first one...I don't know, I guess you guys thought it was a nite club or something and you made your clips in time with the thud, thud, thud, of the music. I hate that. You only get bits and pieces off actual paddling footage.

This one way better.....nice footage, great rides. Also, Manny's interview was great....good guy that Manny.

Mahalo for the feedback "ratchetjaws". We are trying to make a show that fits everyone, with all different aspects of paddling sports. Most of us on the staff, paddle, sail canoes, etc etc..So happy to hear they had it on at the gym!

Keep watching and keep telling us what you do like and dont like. Good or bad we want to hear from everyone. Our goal is to have everyone want to tune in every month. This show is what all paddlers deserve to finally have on air.

Mahalo nui,

Isn't that just the oc16 music? Anyways, awesome show! We really appreciate the footage from the islands up here on a chilly June day in Washington. I can't wait to get back in that warm, blue water. I raced one sailing canoe race w/ Buckman etc. long time ago. Just the Altres race 'round the buoy and back, but w/ 25kts. plus trades, it was one of the funnest canoes races I've ever done!

Terry,

I know you have probably received a lot of props, but I want to give you one more.

Excellent job.

Thank you for having the Web-Video larger than normal.

The picture quality is fantastic.

I am shocked that people in this forum would complain about something like music and editing or anything. ;)

It is like a person dying of thirst complaining about the taste of the water.

Will you stay in Hawaii or start traveling to say Tahiti, World Sprints, Australia with Hawaii paddlers?

I hope you get some great sponsors and this explodes.

Aloha Jim,

Mahalo for the music feedback! Funny! I never thought about the "OC-16" music!

Off with my ocean paddler TV hat, and on with my hsca hat..

Buckman? he is a one of a kind guy..You need to come back and join us for another sailing canoe race..My canoe is the pink one! We girls are always chasing his canoe. Our race this past weekend was so much fun, we had great wind the entire weekend. Friday we raced from kahului to kaanapali in record time, 2 hours for the top crews, 2 hours and 20 minutes for the pink and last crew!! Of course we were the only all wahine crew out there. Noe was steering the first crew, that girl rocks. I swear she can do anything super well in any kind of canoe.

On Saturday we took out over 400 tourists for free that were staying in kaanapali. So much fun, our members rock and love doing community service.

Sunday we raced to Molokai and again had great wind.

Next time you come to hawaii, you should call us and we will go holoholo and sail around for fun. You can get our number off the hsca web-site or call buckman, he knows how to reach nakoa and I.

HSCA hat off..Ocean Paddler TV hat back on..please pass on the Ocean Paddler TV web-site to all your friends..We can use all the feedback we can get!

mahalo nui,

Terry

I want to try the sailing canoe! I have heard alot of good things about your group of members. You all have the rep. for always having a good time. No water changes, all iron and the distance you cover is crazy. I saw the finish a few years ago when you all raced from Oahu to Kauai. I remember seeing your pink sail, everyone looked so tired. I guess so huh after sailing 90 miles. Paddling the whole time?

Right on Terry, Love the show and what you all are doing.

Aloha Kona J -

Mahalo for the kind words, it is ok to hear what people don't like. We all know we can't please everyone and if someone doesnt like the music they can mute it! As long as people dont change the channel we are happy! hahaha

Alex is the producer and his quality in filming is by far the best. Everything he and the other film guys (and girls!) do is in high def.

We have the best team, Dolan, Alex, Joss, Nakoa, Kalai, everyone is the best in their field. We are having so much fun but in order for us to continue, we need advertisers. Everyone email me if you want the rates. It isnt as expensive as you might think.

Yes, we do plan on getting all the paddling events on air. Event organizers can also email me and let me know the scoop. Come July when we go national it is going to be such a thrill.

Alex has another show called "hawaiian xtreme sports" which is one of the longest running TV series here in Hawaii, so we are here to stay!

Mahalo again Kona J

Mahalo to OCpaddler for there amazing site! I have been going on and on about our show, without thanking ocpaddler for giving us all a place to get and receive information!

#14 Thu, 06/05/2008 - 6:13pm

Thank U so much for sharing and creating a website to watch paddling related sports. Living here on the mainland, we crave anything that is dealing with paddling + surfing = good ratings (imho). Great camera angles, good editing, etc... keep up the good work!

#15 Fri, 06/06/2008 - 9:47am

Mahalo to all for your support. The show is getting unreal ratings and we are happy to say, the show is getting advertisers..Please keep watching, send me your feedback, good or bad. This show is for all of you!

Aloha,
Terry

Kanu,
I've never tried sailing canoes, just OC here in Hong Kong and also back in New Zealand where I paddled for Maui Kjeldsen's old club
I only found out about sailing canoes late last year when looking for OC stuff on youtube and have been dying to have a go on one ever since. So I might just take you up on that offer not this year, but perhaps next!

#24 Sun, 06/22/2008 - 7:34pm

Hey your show even looks good upside down!.............cant wait for the 2nd episode to go online........

HINT.......there's plenty of action down here in Oz, plenty of guys & gals who'd love to host and help you get around.....its a big place, but we're friendly............and mildly desperate to get on TV!! ;-)

#25 Mon, 06/23/2008 - 7:09pm

voce donu, that is funny and nice to know!!!! Upside down? wow, i am going to try that.
