Anyone use Acclerade?

go to this site right now and it's on sale till it's gone. never used the stuff myself but read about it on here somewhere. $15.66 for something that is usually $39.95. not sure how much shipping will set you back though.

Definately talk to more people about this product. In my own experience because of the high protien in this product my body was not able to break it down over a long paddle and I would end up keeled over with stomach pain. I have also talked to some triathletes about my experience, and they have had similar complaints. That being said I was drinking the product before a long workout and also during my training session, probably not a good plan.
We all have a routien before, during, and after a race. For me
water, cytomax, and electrolites tabs work the best.

I'm packaging a new supplement under the name "Extreme Performance Unlimited." It will be A LOT cheaper than the so named supplements, have the same carb:pro 4:1 ratio as seen in Accelerade, Endurox and other brand name products PLUS it will contain other co-factors and nutrients (Vit. D, Calcium, Potassium) - what will it be? Non-fat Chocolate Milk - cool, refreshing, delicious and ready to go for your optimum post recovery drink for extreme performance! Save your money and just get the stuff from Safeway.

Chocolate milks efficacy as an alternative source of post-exercise recovery drink was presented at the American College of Sports Medicine meeting. The researchers at the Counsilman Research Center (named after Doc Counsilman, the pioneer of swimming science - intervals, energy systems) conducted the research on Chocolate Milk, Gatorade and Endurox R4. Choc. Milk fared just as good as gatorade and better than Endurox R4 - the same manufacturers of Accelerade.

If you cannot digest milk well, darn, I guess its back to the expensive stuff.

Just so this is not rehashed - theres been much discussed about this in the past...
