Tahitian V1 available in Hawaii?

Is there anyone building V1s in Hawaii or is there a way of ordering one without it being prohibitively expensive?

i paddle the teva nui choke.
very fast in flat water, small bumps.
the teva nui is made for sprints and not open ocean. i use the skirt almost always because of the low volume. i think the ones in tahiti are made for open ocean.

I have heard that the boys at Kamanu Composites will be making a V1 soon... if you can wait.

Where exactly is Tiger located now? Last I heard he left the Big Island and moved to Cali?

I just found the website: http://www.tigercanoe.com/

Looks like they're now located in Bass Lake Cali. From what I was told, "Tiger Canoe" did a one time stint of making a bunch of V-1s for the World Sprints when it was on the Big Island then sold all of them and doesn't make them anymore.

I saw Kamanu Composites two V-1 molds and they both look completely different. I'm definitely looking forward to purchasing one as well!

Kamanu plans on starting to turn some V1's out in a bit that won't be restricted to flat water sprints like the teva nui from tiger is. Might be worth waiting for.
