Foot falls asleep

I’ve been paddling oc-1 for about a month. Got a used Honu fot a good price. I usually paddle about an hour or 2 at a time. My problem is that my left foot falls asleep about every half hour and I have to stop and get the circulation back. Could I be leaning too far to the left of the boat? If I go exactly in the center, I have a tendency to huli. I replaced the seat(it was 1/4”thick and hurt me booty), and I can fair it down some more.

Solution: Center yourself, but don’t huli. Nothing else needed.

Check your rigging. When you sit in the boat and you sit centered, does it lean right, left, or is it centered? A good way to tell is looking straight out and looking at the nose in comparison to the horizon. After you have centered your boat, center yourself and the problem of a numb left foot should go away.
