The Voyaging canoe Te Au o Tonga restoration is finally complete. The Vaka with a crew of 12 left this morning to sail from Rarotonga to Pago Pago in American Samoa .. for those of you that are interested in some culture that is part of our sport, you can follow the trip on their web site http://www.voyaging.co.ck as well as facts & gps data there is a photo library ... I'll be back in Raro next week for a month (life's tough) & will be out on the ocean to welcome the Vaka home at the end of July, I intend to use a chase boat & shoot some cool stuff for postcards etc. to help with fundraising & hopefully I'll get a sail to the outer islands as well !!!! ... I'll post some pics & stories on the ausoutrigger site for those interested,.... and will be including the Vaka in my next book of course ! .... Harv

No problems Terry, I'll email some stuff to the hsca.biz address as it becomes available?, I'm hoping Te Au O Tonga will be on the ocean for Vaka Eiva this year & offer some trips to visiting paddlers,.... a once in a lifetime experience for most .. and of course should raise some funds ! .... Harv
