Anybody have any tips on mounting a shark shield on their OC1?

I use the same method for that, as for mounting the meteor-shield to my ballcap.

I'm from West Oz. I use my OC1 for fishing and spearing as well as racing. When > 1k offshore I usually use my shark shield or when in the north. They are not too shy here. I was just wondering if anyone else had a good system. I get sick of being zapped when I get a good runner.

You mean youre getting zapped in the okole everytime you get a runner?

I`d like to sell one of those to Brent.

Looks like shark repellent comes in some sort of spray can. And it makes the shark explode afterwards.

OK, time for a shark story.
At Catalina a couple of weeks ago I was in the canoe getting ready to change out. We were almost up to our guys in the water and I happened to glance down. There was a 6' shark cruising along under our canoe. Should I say something? My mind went, "its OK, they'll be in the canoe in a couple of seconds".

As soon as they touched I automatically bailed out. As I was going over the gunnel my mind went, "What are you doing?" So the three of us are in the water and I'm thinking, "Don't say anything, just swim calmly over to the boat". Even in the boat I figured it was better not to say anything.

Sharks freak me out, yet its funny how your mind works in a stress situation.
