Us ozzies lone to have a punt on anything, especially on things we know little or nothing about, so as no one seems to be running a sweepstake, How about you all let us know your predictions or race favourites,
Heres mine , and this isnt based on sound research or even logic its just what I want to eventuate.
1. OPT (they are great paddlers/blokes, they lent us a beautiful va'a in 06 when I did the hawaiki nui and they really deserve a big victory after finishing 2nd to shell so many times
2. Lanikai, I met Jim Foti in May and he's a good bloke too, although I don't think he's paddling.
3.Pa'a It would be great for the sport and native Hawaiians
Well , thats my pick whats yours?
The race is tomorrow:)
