Eight or nine years ago an OC-6 manufacturer's rep gave me a VHS tape of a Hawaiian Race put together by a local TV station. It was great. I should it to a group of teenagers and it was so good it mysteriously disappeared. I think it even had jazzy music in the background like NFL highlights.
I've never seen anything like it available since. With the discussion on another thread about sponsors, I'd like to suggest a jazzy race DVD would be a great sales and recruiting tool.
Also, here in the Northern Hemisphere, it would be a great cure for those cold wintry nights.
Maybe I've missed something and Rambo is selling this sort of item even as we speak.

have you been to Ocean Paddler TV?? the camera work rivals any sports show I've ever seen... I watched the Epic Surfski race last evening on my computer.. Interviews, shots from the chopper overhead, even a great blooper of a guy at the end of the race getting rolled on the beach by his ski..

Well, the ingredients are clearly all there, but it would still be nice to be able to carry around a DVD so I could show other folks.
Four minute segments lose the continuity of the event. I can't simply click the remote and get pulled into the event..
Ocean Paddler TV is sitting on a goldmine. All it needs to do is some editing, some marketing, and some DVD burning.
