Any dates for the 2009 Pa'a solo yet? The HIPA site lists the Molokai Solo on May 17th but I think thats the Epic race.

2009 OC1 Racing season in Hawaii
The popularity of PA’A’s inaugural 2008 Kaiwi OC1 World Championship (Solo) event has lead to a huge anticipation of next year’s 2009 event. There are certain dynamics within the organization of this particular race that normally do not allow a planned race date this far in advance, however, PA’A understands that some paddlers traveling to Hawaii would like to plan early in order to take advantage of low airfare rates. With this in mind, PA’A would like to select the following date for the 2009 Solo and it will do everything possible to stay committed to this date:
APRIL 19, 2009 – Kaiwi OC1 World Championship
PA’A has worked with the other Hawaii race organizers to plan out the major race events of the season. In order to keep the Solo within the same time frame as the other big race events, Hawaii race organizers have agreed on the following schedule.
April 9-12 – Kauai World Challenge
APRIL 19 – Kaiwi OC1 World Championship
April 25 – Maui to Molokai Challenge
May 3rd – Kaiwi Channel Relay
The rest of the Hawaii racing season will be announced in a later post.
