It's not on the ala wai, but it's right up the road. You can store it at the public storage at the King street Waialae intersection. It's $35 a month I think. Hope that helps.

Is this place on waialae & king just a storage place for anything or is it specifically for canoes? Do you have anymore information, such as a phone number, availability, how safe it is, name, etc ? Thanks

The place they are talking about is Kaimuki location of Hawaii Self Storage. I know a few people that store their canoes there. There is a rack in the parking lot specifically for storing canoes/kayaks.
