Shell Va'a Won just 50 seconds away from their own record from 2005 edtion.......they are true World champions!
an inspiration!!!
i had the chance to see Ocean Paddler show of Molokai Hoe 2008, everytime Shell was caught in camera, they were just flying, such a speed way beyond understanding, and the best thing is, from Diamond head to the beach they were going even faster.......considering they paddled allready 4 hours....
The official site has Team Hawaii finishing in 13 th and 18th spot so I dont know which team is which, but they both seem to have had a top 20 finish, so they should be happier with that
ok my French is not good but i'll try

i assume team hawai'i is 18th since their number 647 in shown at the 18th place result. maybe the other team hawai'i is kamanu/o'iwi.
