Outlaw Open Ocean Racing Series. Australia.

From the humble beginnings of a few like minded rebels doing their own thing the Outlaw Open Ocean Racing Series was born.
One of these dedicated hard core paddlers, Wade Vautier, took it to the next level. He has created an International class downwind race in Victoria's famous surf coast. This inaugural event will feature Karel Tresnak Jnr and ski Champion Dean Gardiner.
Now the aussie dollar has gone down the gurglar (that's Australian for the dollar is not doing that well) a trip to Australia from the US is a cheap holiday.
If you are interested in coming to our Outlaw race you could go to Wade's website at outriggerclothing.com.au and follow the links. We would love to have some more internationals come and enjoy our beautiful coastline.

I have sold everything not nailed down so I can go to the Kaua'i World Challenge next year so it will be a big New Year for me.

It's nice to be an Outlaw...............

Gee Clarkie,

I think I might cry...............take a tea spoon of cement mate and harden up!.......All you paddlers out there, apart from being being a bit of a romantic sook, Clarkie is right on three counts:

  1. outlaw is where its at;
  2. the coastline of Australia's lesser state is spectacular; and,
  3. the Aussie dollar isnt worth a zack compared to yours!.................

So, get the bloody hell down here!.........sorry, thats an in joke, you have to watch a lot of late night TV to see our our Tourism Bureau's advertisements.....

Thanks for your input Hound. But seriously, me a sook, I've had to listen to your carping (that's aussie for complaining all the time) because you can't afford a new canoe, all year.
If you went on the wagon (ie gave up the booze) for three months you would be riding a new girl (ie canoe) by now.

Now you and Loz have committed (you should be committed) to flying down for the race I will polish up my Zulu OC2 for you. Keep your pie eating training going, can't have you getting away from me like last weekend in Sydney.
