lost Pueo

A Pueo was lost at Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Club/ Windward Kai Canoe Club. Someone was returning the demo to us, and through miscommunication accidently dropped it off there last night at 5:30. I didn't find out until this morning that it was dropped off there, so i went to check at 7:45am and it wasn't there. I'm hoping that maybe someone picked it up for safe keeping....

If anyone knows anything about the canoe, or sees the canoe, could you give us a call at 228-8609.

It's yellow and blue with ugly purple flames on the front.

Thanks a lot---

Lukas-san, Try go down to KCC's site and check in with Paul Gay who is almost always working on canoes there. He may know something. Good luck...

JtP,

Not sure if you are joking, but here's the link anyway...

Luke,

That sucks. If someone "borrowed" it, hopefully it will turn up quickly considering the paint job. Do you have any pics you can put up?

and NO i'm not joking...

I just been buying alot of canoes lately and I want some more...

If you got the money, why not spend it? right?

p.s. I was joking about my other post of Team Bradley, I just wanted to stir up some trouble for everyone..hehe...

#7 Fri, 11/07/2008 - 1:00pm

I don't know any Oscar Chalupski...

#11 Fri, 11/07/2008 - 1:17pm

Fuze, what with the anatgonization here? You trying to get the attention off yourself or what? Sheesh, even the other post you're all over joe. Don't get it

I think luke suggesting someone is holding it for safe keeping and not saying he thinks its stolen is a testament to how cool luke is.

Luke I hope you get the boat back.

#16 Fri, 11/07/2008 - 1:30pm

You are probably right about it being picked up for safe keeping . and if so Luke will get it back soon , I`m sure ,

Maybe in Hawaii things are done differently than on the mainland .

Out here when your stuff gets picked up , its stolen 99.9%
of the time .
Sorry to have jumped to conclusions .

And yes Luke is cool , very cool .

fuzerider - you need a spanking!

#18 Fri, 11/07/2008 - 1:47pm

Terry you know I love you ....don`t let anyone else know .

Wow again the comments are getting weirder and weirder. This was one of the Demo boats, and seeing as how the Pueo is still a new boat there aren't that many out yet. If anyone sees this yellow Pueo (not really purple flame looking more than purple blob on noes), spread the word because if your looking to try a Pueo this is one of the ones that you might use.

This was one of the Demo boats, and seeing as how the Pueo is still a new boat there aren’t that many out yet.

For a fairly new boat, there sure were a lot of them at the Coast Guard Race.

Hope it does make it back to you guys alright.

Thanks for the picture r_dog--- it's the one upside down on the car, not the blue and black one. I'm sure it'll show up one of these days, nobody can hold out on that boat for that long. I dont have any pictures of it, but you'll know it if you see it. Thanks guys,

Woohoo---
The canoe has been found. Thanks to Darrel at Windward Kai for grabbing it and thanks to everyone on here for vigilantly looking out for it.

JAYBIRD

YUP, Coach Derrel IS the man. So like him to do that. He knows how to shoot gel-coat too. LOL.

Lucky we get Derrel.

Hey Luke
Glad that beauty of a boat is back with you! When you say "Thanks to Darrel at Windward Kai for grabbing it..." did he really GRAB it from someone? You must share the details!!!

Uncle Derrell said some homeless guy tried to take it but some other homeless guy wouldn't let him and put it on WKCC's trailer for safe keeping- At which point Uncle Derrell put it on his truck to be returned. By the way it's a nice ride. Gel-coat LOL, Uncle Derrell knows everything.
