Any results, pictures, or comments to post for this event? I was off island and bummed to miss it. I'm sure everyone had great fun and fellowship. A great event in support of a great friend to big island paddlers.

Wow-the guy who won ran sub five minute miles!

#6 Thu, 12/04/2008 - 12:55pm

I am pretty sure that was a girl that fan the sub five miles.

#7 Sun, 12/07/2008 - 12:22pm

Well, not trying to be sexist, but the guy's name appears to be Dallas O'Shaughnessy and he has an M by his name. Just sayin...

#8 Sun, 12/07/2008 - 2:57pm

Okay, my mistake- fastest overall finisher was a guy- fastest running split- was run by a girl.

#9 Sun, 12/07/2008 - 4:10pm

Let's give credit where credit is due-O'Shaugnessy had the fastest run time. At least according to the results that are posted. Maybe the woman who beat him was so fast no one saw her cross the finish line.

#10 Sun, 12/07/2008 - 5:02pm

Okay, I'll him extra credit since he did it solo. She was part of a relay teem but her split was 10:09, The fastest running split. Her time was posted, somebody must have seen her cross.
