Hi everyone…
Totally not the norm here, but I am looking for female OC-1 paddlers for consideration for an HMSA commercial spot.
You will receive compensation if you are selected. HMSA is a sponsor for our Moloka’i to Oahu canoe races and they are focusing on that sport for some upcoming campaigns.
This is a good thing for our sport and our upcoming races. If you are a female age 18-25 years old and you are an avid paddler and are interested in this, please email me: nazarene@adragency.com.
I am the Event Director for the Moloka’i Hoe and assist with the Na Wahine and in my “real” job I am an agent for television and film, and I wanted to give anyone who is interested a shot at this…I need to hear from you by Wed. 11/26/08.

It would be the perfect fit for what HMSA represents and the women's "Race To Heal" endeavor - bringing awareness to breast cancer through outrigger canoe paddling.
The women are photogenic, athletic, and great representations for their sport.
Hope you will provide serious consideration to these two. ;-}

How about someone who has actually won some titles on the one mans? Noe, Alana, Lauren? They are cuties and have proven themselves over and over.

gee kontiki, speaking of hostile. ALL of those women mentioned are great paddlers in their own right. but i think Naz stated their criteria: 19-25 years old, avid OC1 paddler, and nothing about titles and achievements. Many women fit this description. Kamamakakaua had a good point about outside community activities. good luck to all that apply! will be great to have more positive representation of canoe paddlers in the media.

OCPaddler.com behaviour should be included in the selection criteria as well.

Thanks for the feed back and to those who have submitted their images. Unfortunately, I am just given a criteria that is presented by the clients and decided to post it on this site to give those who really do live the paddling life in lieu of an actor in great shape who paddles every now and then..
So spread the word and have them send me some photos so that I can get them to the clients...BTW - I plan on sending Jaime's image just in case...

What about Jerika Moniz (NEW HOPE), she actually is 18- she's very pretty and a good paddler.
