3 hours each way twice a week to paddle with Team Arizona, no problem.
6 hours each way every second weekend to race in SoCal, no problem.
3,400 miles roundtrip to race at Gibsons and the Gorge, no problem.
Moving to Maui in two days, NO PROBLEM!!!

I think the car goes in a container and you hang the boat from the ceiling, not sure how the 2man fits in a 25' container.

poops, just a 3 series but plenty fast with a couple of canoes on top. Anyways, think I'll be doing the speed limit in Maui, I'll leave the hyperdrive for the desert.
onno, way too much. $1100 for the car and that again for the canoes. But saved me having to pack them, pallet them, get them from AZ to SoCal, and will get it all there in 8 days.

Jibofo, good trip to you! I always liked your photo of your BMW with the Huki, parked at an abandoned gas station, out in the desert surrounded by Joshua trees. To see an OC-1 in that setting was a real double-take!

Place is called, Rice, middle of fricken nowhere. Drove by it countless times (at warp speed), thinking I should stop and shoot some pictures. Finally stopped one day and shot a dozen or so.
