I'm gettin' pretty old and my wife says I'm definitely used. She said she'd trade me for the $1500 - no problem.

I think this discussion cam up in another recent thread but to reiterate:
so regarding this older used one man, is stiffer better than a less stiff used old one man?

Depends on what you want to use it for...
for if your gonna try and surf with the goal of possibly getting in the tube then you'll probably want a stiffer one...
if you just wanna cruise then you may be able to get away with a less stiff one?
of course with todays advances you can probably find something that you can use on your less stiff oneman to make it more stiffer?
