Thanks for the comments =)

Goodwaka, the contest had only OC-4 and flyin stand ups so there was no surfing pics of OC1’s but I'll definitely post some in the future if it happens

Aloha~

It's a few years old now but there's a pic of Mel surfing an OC-1 on a big wave at Makaha. To avoid an inevitable argument about wave size, let's just say there's plenty of wave in front and behind him when he's dropping in.

Yeah. 4 man surf canoes and boards are impressive!
I'm waiting to see sit-on OC's do similar stuff to earn the status as Hawaiian surf craft..... true, there have been the odd drop in's taken on biggish waves (caught on camera) but nothing yet to match the usual Makaha spectacle

Hi Nick, I was serious...You should make a calender or sell the photos with a potion going to leightons fund for his kids. I would buy several! I know many people who would buy some..

yes, Alex was there with kengi another one of our film guys. Alex is a german who is from brazil! Great guy and by far one of the best film people around. he is the producer of hawaiian xtreme sports TV as well..

I am in Florida right now...I hate being away from home..I get back on the 15th..counting the hours..tic'toc tic'toc...I missed the eddie opening, first time in forever, mel's event..bummer. Mel and my hubby go way back. Did you see mel's new baby boy? Cutie pie..Can you tell i am bored? I need to get home!

Aloha to all,
