For all the paddlers out there, i have a quick question. If Kanaka Ikaika held a race on a sunday like Feb 8th, would you race in a fundraiser race for Punana Leo o Kawaiaha'o on Sat. Feb 7th? Last year was fun with good food and unreal prizes. Not sure if we can get enough participants this year, since Kanaka Ikaika is having a race on the next day. Don't ask why we just don't move our date. All the dates are already taken, and i originally had an open date that was not taken at that time.

Racing 2 days in a row? Yes, please. I'm a mid-pack finisher at best, so I'll race any day. My ego can take the beating, and my body can use the exercise. What's the course?

just an FYI, i could be mistaken, but i think high school state championships will be on Maui on february 7th. not sure if this has any effect on anyone's plans.
