Paddling in the South Pacific

Kia orana people,

Just finished a short clip of some footage taken in Rarotonga with an Xacti waterproof handycam rigged to the rear iako. It gives a reasonably good POV, but I must apologise for my less-than-perfect surfing skillz... Anyway here's looking forward to Vaka Eiva next year. (Note: those who have been to Rarotonga will recognise the famous watering hole at the end of the clip).
Click on the following link and turn your music volume up, otherwise its just rubbish.

Less-than-perfect surfing skills? You were on a bump the whole time! I guess everyone's scared to post their vids after Jibofo got nailed! Looks like fun.

Great Vid, Made me jealous for some good surf, paddled 12 in the total FLAT San Fran bay today, not even a boat wake to chase!! At least it was warm for a change!!

Thanks for the entertainment!!

Sweet video!
Thanks.

Xtremechf... Sounds like you were paddling in the wrong part of the day or wrong part of the Bay!
Had some nice small windswell running out of the North by the Gate this afternoon.

Hey thanks guys, appreciate your kind comments. It is kind of addictive taking out the camera. Learning to drive the video editing software was the biggest challenge though, but even that is not really too difficult.

Hey Hiro, maruuruu bro, paddling in 'Rorotoa' is probably similar to paddling in 'Ta iti'... eh!!
