Okay! Here it is, my Second Annual request for Maui paddlers to "share the love" and help me find paddling opportunities while I'm there on vacation. My wife and I are going to be in Maui from January 29 to February 9. We're staying in Kahana, and we'll have a car (and our paddles, and the least smelly paddling gear). I see there's a club in Kahana and Lahaina, if anybody knows contacts there.
We’re looking to train while we’re there. As with all my “looking to paddle” posts, I’m prepared to bribe with beer if requested. We’re both dedicated paddlers - I’ve been paddling for more than 11 years, my wife for 5 years.
We’d also be interested in racing the Lulu's Pali race if anyone wanted a paddling partner. Or maybe you have a spare boat just lying around that you don't know what to do with....
