Anyone in Hawaii get in the water at sunrise? Do you find this is any less desirable time to paddle?

Getting up is the worst part. Watching the sky lighten and change color behind Haleakala is very cool.

Getting whacked by a bunch of malolo in the pre dawn dark makes you wonder what's chasing them.

The sunrise paddles are only less desirable the last few days when it was soo cold (by Hawaii standards). Watching the sun come over Haleakala is awesome. Even better on a full moon!
