What is it? Is there a website? How long is it? Do you need a rental car etc? I'm going to be on Oahu at that time and would like to do the race but I know absolutely nothing about it. Is it a surfing race or all sorts of conditions or what?
Thanks

Link doesn't work but I have the date. There is no distance listed on that website either. It says Long course miles and then short course miles. It skips the numbers which is why I posted up here originally. Also couldn't find info on that site about the type of race conditions etc. Sounds like it finishes with a Hawaii Kai run? And I'm guessing pretty rough around Ma'kapu?
Thanks Eckhart

Link seems to work.
Look at google maps for the course.
The third segment can be rough, not necessarily so.
Fourth segment is longer than Hawaii Kai run, which ends in Kaimana.
You can do it alone, takes a little longer, about 5:30.

Leg I: Outside Pinky's Canal to Sandbags in Lanikai
Leg II: Sandbags to Makai Pier
Leg III: Makai to HK Bath House
Leg IV: HK to Magic Isle
If you relay it, you alternate legs. If you solo it, I think you may have to check in at each change out point? That's a Jon Emerson/Jimmy Foti ? though.

Not planning on soloing it. No way I'll be in shape for that this year.
So the first 2 legs are aprox 5 miles and the second 2 are aprox 10-12?
Thanks.
