Hey ! Ignorance is no excuse for arrogance ! Firstly this Aussie tells the world that the Aussies will come 1 - 2 at the Molokai Hoe this year - BIG statement when you have never completed the crossing ! Then when his team is 4th and the other Aussie team is 8th the same guy is spouting that they have the 11th fastest time in history ! This is not right anyway - but the way I read it this was the first time Mr Droy has completed the channel crossing so he obviously does not know that conditions vary greatly from day to day let alone year to year - so times really mean nothing compared to other years. His team was 4th - which is commendable. Let's leave the outrageous boasting out of the media. Paul (Big Island)
