The Ultimate Winter Paddling Vehicle!

(I'm trying to come to grips with having bought a mini-van)

Our lake is still frozen, so I thought this would be the perfect way to get a workout in while commuting. Those are two fully rigged paddling machines in the back. My wife and I could just get on to the paddling machines whenever we're stuck in traffic. "This red light looks like it's going to be a long one, how's about a 500 m sprint?"

And careful with the mean-spirited comments. That's my wife (and my Odyssey) you're dissing!

Ok this is pretty funny. The steamy windows would get you pulled over. I'd like to see the cop's face when he sees whats actually going on.

Dude, you shouldn't tell people you have a minivan. Make up some story at least how you're driving that while your truck is in the shop or something. Sheez

You didnt say anything about the studly Volvo station wagon at the other end of the driveway.

I'd hook one of those puppies up to the rear drive below.... then put the wife to work.

Disclaimer: my wife doesn't read this website.

Poo, The first step to recovery is admitting that I'm now a mini-van-driving loser. This is part of my transformation.

Jpi. The studly Volvo in the driveway is being sold today. It broke down on the way to a race TWICE this past season (that, plus my wife won't let me spend another cent on it....). It jeopardized my goal of becoming the fastest old slow guy.

And finally, according to an owners-group website, the Honda Odyssey is the "sports car" of mini-vans. Now I just gotta get some cool racks and hip stickers to push it over the top.....

Kahuna
Thanks for letting us know about your Volvo. No need to make an offer

You should paint the mini van in red and add flame decals. It will make it go faster.

I was thinking a bumper sticker:
"My other car doesn't make me look like a total weenie"

Keep a surf board strapped to the roof at all times... Even if there isn't any surf around, and the ocean is frozen over. That will make you look cool no matter what you drive.

Hell the Ho-dads over here use to bolt their surf boards to their roof racks with 4 inch bolts, the racks were like 1 ft apart and on a 45 degree angle making the surf board look more like a spoiler on a speedway car. ...hahah ... i use to laugh so much, but they picked up the surfer chicks ...damn.

Dude... that's awesome. Totally makes up for the minivan stigma, if that exists outside of one's own mind. You should drive with the rear gate open so that people think you or your wife is actually powering the car.

Hey, you don't need a rack, just put your fusion right in the back like your ergs.... You may have to fish it through the passenger window, but you could save some $$$ and loading time to boot!
