The last three weeks here have been full on non stop downwind runs every day. Maliko, Fleming, Makena, Keanae. Rained today so we finally got a day off. Video is dedicated to one of my first coaches, Allen Abad, who just passed away. He'll be in my thoughts every time I get into a canoe.

Now this is a neat video that shows the paddler's view of the water. You can even spot the runners ahead and feel the pull of the stroke as the canoe gets on the bump. Wonderful!

Three weeks of solid epic paddling. Double Maliko race is today and its flat with no wind. Figures.

Awesome video Jibofo!! Wished Saguaro Lake had waves like that! :-) Mahalo for sharing da video and dedicating it to Coach Allen Abad who will be missed immensely by many who knew him! He has taught "us" well.... to be humble and to believe!

Great angles, fun to be tight to the water like that. Dead Head boat brought smiles when it splashed on the screen.
Thanks for putting that together wish I was there for a run.....

Changed the video just a bit. Added in a couple of shots from the front of the canoe looking back, interesting perspective. Working on some new angles for the next one.
Here's the link to the latest version. Enjoy.

Looked like the perfect run. Fun to see the Pegasus flying. I like your decal work. Looks like you had a ton of fun- that's what it is all about! I hope MAui-Molokai this Saturday offers a similiar experience. Will you be filming that one? Great job on the video!!!

Love the video! I've been out of the water for a week and this gives me a real kick in the pants to get back out. Wooo hooo!

Hey Jibofo... I thought I would let you see this big wind pic I took a few nights ago. It was all I could do to keep the canoe upright!!!
I'll post a video soon... the great thing is you don't even need a water tight camera for these bumps...
Keep up the great video work...

Man that is so windy that it's blown it totally flat. Radical.

Nice one Jibofo, that must have been a hoot. Love that run and the long one from Ke'anae as well.
