Ama pads

We use mana amas on our Bradleys. We seem to have misplaced the rigging bucket for one of our canoes (ARG! Don't ask!), and are missing the blue pads that go between the iako & ama. Does anybody know where we can get replacement pads? Mahalo!!!

Cutting the same shape out of a yoga mat seems like it might work pretty well also?

I dunno, yoga mat isn't all that durable. Go to hardware store or flooring store and buy a sheet of vinyl or dense rubber. Probably about 1000 times cheaper than actually buying the pads from a paddling store. Or I bet bradley will be happy to help you out too.

Mahalo to everybody! I ordered a set from Outrigger Connection. At $5.95 a pair, I figure you can't go wrong!
See you on the water . . .

I cut a 5X5 inch piece out of a Pueo -blast a hole in the middle and use them as Ama pads for our club's OC-6.

Pueos are sooo fast that they can make the OC-6 even faster when used correctly

Kona J,
That's the best idea yet! I think I even get better mileage out of my truck when the Pueo is on the roof. They're fast AND efficient...
