Sharks and conditioning

This was in the paper a week ago. Their tracking research (half way down under "Coastal Patrolling") indicates that Tiger sharks tend to become conditioned to congregate in areas due to manmade causes. I found this interesting because for several years I have observed on many occasions a Salt Water Specialty cleaning its fish inside Portlock Point, just off to the side from where we begin the Hawaii Kai run.

That's not cool, especially w/ all the surf spots nearby.

My thoughts exactly. Everybody who does the shuttle probably knows that boat, as it lives on the side of the road just past DH. No respect.
