» Friday, May 29, 3 p.m.
Traditional Hawaiian welcome for 10 participating crews.
» Saturday, May 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Complimentary Hawaiian sailing canoe rides. Crew members will be on hand throughout the day. The public is welcome to meet the crews and learn more about this ancient form of Hawaiian canoe sailing.
» Sunday, May 31, 8 a.m.
Traditional Hawaiian farewell ceremony for the crews before the teams race from Kaanapali to Molokai.
I dont know if you're organizing this, Ill be there but will also be at the regatta same day at canoe beach, would be cool if we can sail down to the regatta and pick up some na opio, keikis etc, share the stoke of sailing canoe with the next generation...
Aloha Joe, I am so sorry that I just now got your message on this thread. Your idea was a good one, and something the hsca would have done for sure. Maybe next year, we can plan it to where we can send a couple sailing canoes down there as well..
