This years regatta season is shaping up to be very interesting and fun to watch.
For the second week in a row, it appears the Waikiki Beach Boys have captured the overall points in the Hui Wa'a regatta with the men's program stepping up.
Outrigger and Hui Lanakila have also been getting strong performances from both the women and men's program.
With the competition getting tougher throughout, it should make for an awesome build up to the States.
Mahalo nui to both papers for supporting the sport and providing free exposure - please click on the links below to show your interest as well because if not even the paddlers are reading the paddling news articles, the papers will have no reason to write about the sport, potential sponsors will have little interest in sponsoring, and less people outside of paddling will know or understand what the sport is about!

Ah, regatta season... That special time of year when it's OK for 30 year-old men to date 15 year-old girls. I remember being a teenager, and thinking, "C'mon guys! Leave some for me! Find some girls your own age!"
...but they didn't :(

Yeah....the girls. Canoe season attracts some great looking girls. Hard bodies in their Lycra/Spandex shorts, nice a$$, bodies in great condition. And, as they approach you or walk by you they say....."hi Uncle"....it kills me!! NO CALL ME UNCLE!!

but 15 yr olds is kinda to young for me. and for me to say something like that i dont think ill be coaching highschool come next year.
