Perhaps Rambo, the video kahuna, knows? Are there any DVD's around on outrigger canoe steering.
I'm interested in training some new steersmen, but I'm afraid my personal quirks may get magnified by my students. West's books are useful, but "a picture is worth a 1,000 words" and surely moving pictures are worth a "1,000,000 words."

I have just paddled with Nappy at Hamo (he steered our crew) and filmed him from two angles for the first hour. The footage will be up soon.
That man is one skilled steersman and he and Anona were a joy to hang out with. Little Rigg Napoleon stayed with us too and demolished all our lollies ..hahha.... cool kid, and can drive a golf buggy and a support boat better than i can.

BTW Nappy's DVD .. One paddle - two Paddle also has a steering section in it as well as all the fundamentals of paddling.
