Huki V2-X Outrigger

Has anybody paddled one of these yet to offer any feedback. I like the new look. I'm on the East Coast and thinking of just going for it sight unseen. I noticed that it's a higher volume boat though and we're a combined weight of 290. OK? How would the new lower seating affect paddling efficiency and stability? Iakos are not adjustable, is this any cause for concern? Thjanks for any help.

The new V2-X is the canoe for us. Will be in our fleet this week. While the jakos can't adjust the ama still can, three positions. The lower seat provides the lower center of gravity and stability is no problem. We paddled it, and ordered ours the same day. Of course, we owned a Tandem Z, and had raced it for two years in all conditions, and we felt this boat was even better. We just raced the Petaluma marathon on dead-flat water and light winds with the North Bay Rowing club this weekend on a tandem Z, and our friends were on their new V2-X. The crew members were amazed at our times covering the 25.4 miles in 3 hours and 43 minutes. The canoes turned heads all day. Oh, our total weight is 280.
