CATALINA ISLAND TO DANA POINT, CALIFORNIA
This year’s event will be held on [b]SUNDAY, APRIL 4th[/b]
This year’s event will provide a surf ski category with a 2-person team in addition to the regular categories for OC1 and OC2.
OC1: OPEN MEN, OPEN WOMEN, CALIFORNIA OPEN MEN, CALIFORNIA OPEN WOMEN, MASTER MEN (40+), SR MASTER MEN (50+) and OPEN MIXED
OC2 & SURF SKI: Open Men, Open women and OPEN MIXED
First place OC1 California Open Men’s Team & California Open Women’s Open Team will receive round-trip air and hotel accommodations to the 2004 Kauai World Challenge.

Please notice the date is April 4th. The race had been pushed back to the 11th, but it was later brought to out attention that this is Easter weekend, and not a good idea. So Catalina will be held on it's usual day, Sunday April 4th!

Out of Area Clubs or individuals looking for Experienced Escort Boats for this event please feel free to contact me. I have numerous boating contacts and only refer you to skippers that I know are experienced, and safe, having good boats properly equiped.
Rates vary by Skipper, race location, race type, and duration (i.e. Catalina costs more due to increased expenses of overnighting on the island, bigger boats or longer races cost more due to fuel consumption, etc.).
Those of you COMMITTED to making the Catalina race in April need to get in touch with me SOON. Remember, these folks need to make reservations on the island too!
