thank you keizo

I think keizo deserves a pretty big mahalo from everyone who uses this site. He puts in an amazing amount of time into ocpaddler only to promote paddling... a sport which he can't even do anymore since he's in Troy, New York. Along with the hours a day necessary to keep the site updated and user-friendly, Keizo spends $83 a month out of his own pocket to keep it online! I know that every time i sit down at my computer firt thing i check ocpaddler for updates or new posts on the forum, and before every race i'm checking the weather through ocpaddler or using the site to find out where a race is, and i deffinetely need to say thank you... alright keizo, thanks

Much Mahalos to Keizo......he is the inspiration to the paddling world.....we on Kauai really, really miss him and his dad. I wouldn't mind doing some kind of donation every month......can we start something.....I know it must be really hard for him financially and its not that we all have a lot of money but if we all contribute something every month it should at least cover the cost. So all you guys out there lets all chip in.

Now Keizo....do another website for us to donate to....and right on to Luke....these two guys are just like brothers and lets not forget Kelly....someday they will have their own shop designing and building the fastest canoe on this earth.....

we could all help keizo out by advertising on ocpaddler!! it's a steal for the numbers of hits this site gets everyday! everyone should make it a point to use the advertisers on ocpaddler and to let them know they see the ads here...that way they'll keep advertising and keizo can at least break even with the site!!

Thanks guys, I certainly do put a lot of time into this website, and when I started it I had no idea I would keep doing it in college, especially if I wasn’t even in Hawaii. But after I got the site going I found it a really great way to put my “geek skills” to use into promoting something I enjoy so much.

What’s really special though, is the community support the sport receives. There are so many people in the outrigger community that dedicate a lot of their time to help the sport. Race organizers and officials put an immense amount of work into putting good races on. All the coaches, canoe club organizers, and paddlers make the sport what it is.

OCPaddler is designed as a medium for paddlers to catch the latest news, but this is only possible with all the contributions. I could probably make a list of names a page long with those who have helped out. I hope everyone notices the credits by every post because those are the people who really run the site. All of these people deserve a big mahalos as well.

 lol, Thanks Joy. I know some websites have been run successfully on donations, notably row2k.com a major site for crew so I will consider doing this in the future.

Yes, definitely please support the sponsors and contact me if interested in advertising. It's priced low for what you get so I really don't think it makes a big dent most advertising budgets. Effective advertising while supporting a great resource!

hehe, yes yes, but college is still first priority. Most of the time. Gotta learn the cad.
