I have never raced but wanted to compete in OC1 at Lake Tahoe this summer. Do I have to be a club member to compete or can I just show up and paddle? Not sure who to even ask, that’s why I am asking here.

You can just show up and paddle. There are also 2 races for OC1 in nor cal in August. Go to Wavechaser.com

Aloha jh, labor day weekend in north shore Hui O Hawaii of Sacramento will be putting on a two day outrigger canoe race… contact John or Kim Green at jkg@surewest.net for info… you do not need to be a club member to paddle oc-1, oc-2, surf ski, or kayak
