If you are near Tokyo do a search on Kamakura Outrigger Club, they are about 40 minutes from Tokyo.

Fantastic,

so are they whereabouts in Tokyo are they located, I know another person who relocated to Japan as well and once she is settled in she may want to paddle...

BTW if you are ever in Singapore, let us know, we have just started an outrigger club down here.

Hi,

Well we are 30 min from Yokohama and about 50 min from Shinagawa. It depends where she is located as to how she would get here, there are many train lines.

We really need some more girls for the ladies teams, and she would be most welcome. If your freind is interested ask her to mail me.

Regards

Hello,

Notice these posts are a little old but I was wondering if anyone new of a club or crew around the Tokyo city area. I'm an Australian living near Ginza and although I haven't paddled for a few years would love to get back in the water a few times a week if anyone had a spare spot. Cheers.

Wow, Danny

My place and office is in Shinagawa and I am currently struggling to start a new club and paddling site in Tokyo bay area. Let's work on this together.

Meanwhile, you can travel bout an hour down to Kamakura or Zushi by Yokosuka Line as there are several clubs actively paddling every weekend.

Most clubs are paddling around Tokyo area, and it is winter here now.
Not too freezing for us and we do paddle every week. Maybe not pleasant for paddlers from tropical islands.

To paddle with JPN clubs, no problem!
Just ring me when you're here. I or any other my paddling buddy will take you to the beach.
