Just wanted to know what's in everybody's cd player before they race. Eminem and 2pac amps me up, but there's always some other stupid song that get's stuck in my head during the race! :lol:

that's a good question i like alternative music i don't care what kind. and sometimes during a race i even start singing songs to myself. haha

favorite son by green day, hitchin a ride by green day, and eminems lose yourself.. i listened to those three songs before my last two races and would recall all three of them during the race to pump me up--- i started training while listening to music, and i think that it helps a lot.. it deffinetely helps take my mind off the length of training and helps push me harder than i can go without the music, but then when i get tired during a race i imagine that i'm training with my music and i can almost hear it... deffinetely helps to bring me back to the race when my mind starts to wander..
but i dont recommend training with music all the time, kinda ruins the serenity of paddling... but if your like me and on a resevoir filled with jetski's and there is no such thing as serenity, then it's worth it

Never heard the song until I got it as a "Super Cool Bonus Track" on a CD I was given. But now I will try to live my life according to its lyrics.
Seriously though, I often end up singing Bob Marley in my head. And sometimes Pink Floyd.

I like to listen to NSYNC or any hits from Backstreet Boys especially "I want it that Way." Gets me pumped up for an ass kicking. It doesnt get better than that jc9. Ha.
