I tried it and think that it is probably one of the best boats around. It's way faster than stingray and fusion in the flatwater. It feels about like a Wilder Vantage in size. If I didn't have a Vantage I would buy this boat.
I have a Fusion on order, but I think I am going to get the Fuze instead. I need to test it out first. Anyone else paddle one yet? I'm stuck in the desert right now, so I won't get to try one for a while. I weigh between 175 and 180 and like to surf, but I would like to be able to go in the flats as well. Looking for impressions of the boat to keep my appetite up until I get home.
so how much do you guys tip the scales at? the ad for the fuze says 170 lb paddler. Guess I gotta lose another 15 lbs to paddle these new fangled boats. Next thing you know we're going to have a bunch of anorexic paddlers hanging around. Just a thought, but what is the average paddler weight now aday?
Just checked the OC web site for more info, but no FUZE in the online product lineup. Just wondering when the pertinent information will be posted on outriggerconnection.com (dimensions, price, etc.)
the canoe surfs great, and responds quickly. the ama is light, the seat is comfortable, like sitting in a cockpit, that should help you from getting swept over in some heavy stuff. slower than the hurricane in the flat, but overall i think this is a great oc1. looks great! looking forward to getting one.
yes it is. Some of my friends have ordered already.

To answer your question: the average paddler weighs 2408 kg. Start losing weight!

Unless my math is wrong 2408 kg. is equal to 5308.73 pounds and if that is the case we should all gain weight!!
