Hei Hei Wa‘a Nui ‘O Waikoloa

Waikoloa Canoe Club presents the 22nd Annual Hei Hei Wa ‘a Nui ‘O Waikoloa (Great Waikoloa Race). This is the second year that the club will be “paddling for the cure” and in doing are glad to be supporting the American Cancer Society. The race starts at 8:00am at Anaehoomalu Bay. Canoes will leave the bay and head north to the Mauna Lani Point, turning on a buoy and head south to Kiholo Bay making the final turn north back to `Anaeho’omalu Bay for the finish.

Keoua C.C. Calvin Kelekolio Long Distance Race

Event Description: 

Keoua Honaunau Canoe Club invites your participation in the 22nd annual Calvin Kelekolio Long Distance Race on Saturday, August 21, 2010. The course will be to the south, toward Ho’okena. Keoua will host a post race Hawaiian lunch and awards party for all race participants. Paddlers are encouraged to car pool as parking is limited. This race is a Moku O’ Hawaii Canoe Racing Association sanctioned event.

Entry Fee: Junior $60 per crew, Adults $120 per crew, includes Lunch and Awards to top 3 in each division
COURSE: Women and Junior Crews 10 Miles Honaunau – Kauhako Bay - Honaunau
Men and Mixed Crews 12 Miles Honaunau – Kapilo Bay - Honaunau

Race Start Times: Women/Juniors, 8:30 A.M. Men/Mixed, following Women/Junior Race
