Last Sunday the Kaua'i paddlers, spearheaded by Tom Bartlett, hosted a well-attended fun-run to generate funds to be gifted to the local family Pa'a. The conditions were terrific on the course from Poipu to Salt Pond. It was a huge success and the proceeds will certainly help defray some of the Pa'a family medical expenses. Everybody please note that the Kauai World Challenge will NOT be held on the traditional Mother's Day weekend. Kaua'i Hoe Wa'a has graciously agreed to move the event to April 21, 2012. Mahalo.

Just bought a used Pegasus and am not sure if I should just transport upside down on the truck surf racks or if I should invest in the cradles. I hear mixed advice, some say cradles, some say no cradles. We have a Nissan Frontier that has racks with surfboard pads.
Any advice?
