Pueo 1 extended footwell. Boat is good condition and has been garaged for the past couple years. I just don’t paddle it enough enough to justify. Otherwise, water tight, cables are in good shape, and ready to paddle. Kamanu cover available for extra $.

My name is Nate Day and I'm coach of the men's OC6 program at the Washington Canoe Club in Washington, DC. We are trying to expand our spec fleet and are hoping to buy a pair of Lightnings from a club interested in offloading spec boats in order to raise funds (presumably to buy more Malolos, since that's all we see when we come race at Catalina). We have guys willing to road trip with our trailer from DC to the west coast (empty-nesters with vacation time), so logistical commitments at your end would be minimal -- again, we are looking for spec Lightnings that are still stiff and in good shape. The price (including 'iakos and 'amas) we would offer would depend on the age and condition of the boat. Outrigger Connection OC-1 canoe in very good condition. Fast and light, fun in the surf. Carbon construction. Good volume and extra leg room for larger size paddlers.

As I understand it, this OC1 is a flat water version of the Viper and really great canoe for SoCal conditions, various OC team riders have along with Karel Jr. won the Catlaina Crossing a few years in a row on it.

It is a performance layup and is the lightest one I have come across.

I have only stored it inside. It has an upgraded footplate. I have multiple rudders for it, surfing and a custom weedless which has been amazing for local flat races to avoid dragging kelp around everywhere.

It has no damage and usage has been minor, I will post pictures this weekend. I will also sell a spare full cabon epic midwing with it. I have a cover for the ski as well.
