Kamehemeha Day! June 11th, 2013 Mandatory opening ceremonies and registration
June 12th, 2013 Day 1. Iron Race from Laupahoehoe to Keokea. 38 miles
June 13th, 2013 Day 2. Iron race from Keokea to Kawahae. 27 miles
June 14th, 2013 Final Day. Iron race leg 1 from Kawaihae to Kukio, 18 miles. Then swap out all 6 paddlers if wanted for Iron race leg 2 from Kukio to Kamakahonu, 18 miles.

This is one of the most exciting activity that I have able to experience. It started on a college term paper project and this topic is what I have chosen. The race was fun and I learned a lot from it and later I made a piece out of it. Race ambassadors said "you could try these out" (they let me try to join the race) which I eventually agreed. It was a fun experience with my term paper composition.
