After years of development of the sport in Europe is the first organized league, the scope for competition in previous editions of the "Allwave cup" proved to be very technical and selective, that is why the organization has planned a canoe camp in three days before the tender with the presence of a sample as Jim Foti that bring all his experience to teach the athletes the best techniques of the sport and is also a race for less experienced athletes (short race)
This league will give a further impetus to the development and dissemination throughout Europe.
Maine Outrigger / Surfski Championships to be held in the beautiful Casco Bay region of the central Maine coast , one of the worlds most beautiful coastlines. The format for the race will be point to point , downwind or "downeast" as they say around here. The course will be 15 miles long . This race is destined to be come a classic. If it`s hot where you live in June come to Maine and cool off. The race T shirts are really cool and the prize table at the finish line will have lots of unique stuff from Hawaii. Entry fee: $50.
