So were a lot of the guys who were doing well on Pueos last year but everybody made a big stink at first. Just mentioning it.

Correction, there is still a stink going on, just wondering which boat will get the most stank!!

Last weekend at Nationals I was 6th in Senior Master on Saturday 25km on the Pegasus then had my first ride on my new XM on Sunday in the 12km short course and made a significant improvement.

It is a very very nice ride.!!!!!! But I own one of only two in Australia so they will not take off down here.

So I have to ask Clarkie: Was it what I described to you?

Loved it, I have never felt so stable, the seat really anchors the bum and makes you one with the canoe.

Where is that crow, whoops I meant Owl. Just wanted to tell it how good that XM of mine is. No improvement on the flat but out in the salt it has definately made me faster. My body is stuffed after doing 404km on the Murray at Christmas but I am placing higher amongst my peers than previous years so it must be the canoe.

C'mon crow, where are you?!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read lots of comments about the seat area being low to the water and snug for good canoe control. How is the fit for the hips. Anyone tried this new rig and found it to be too tight after a few hrs.

Actually the first time I jumped on it I thought Geez this is tight. Then the rubber warmed up and moulded to my fine physique. I have got a skinny baggy arse which has been genetically designed to fit into the XM haha.

I guess if you can't fit in it you are the wrong size for an XM and should look at something a bit more accommodating.

Seat area is flared out providing plenty room for most okole (rearends). Seat can be shaped to fit. Very stable canoe! Aaron, Pat Dolan and Kea finally getting their new canoes shortly so you'll see more on the water in Honolulu.
