Arizona`s First Outrigger Canoe Club

I am proud to announce that Arizona is starting to make a name in the KOA race results placing 2nd in the Novice Coed division at the Kahanamoku Klassic... Story continued w/pictures..read more:

Considering that we are a small club and practice in Malia`s twice a week in the 100 degree plus heat during the race season towing our trailer and (2)canoes to Tempe Town Lake miles away...we have overcome the unthinkable! Many Californian racers often ask us where do we paddle? Tempe Town Lake is a manmade strip of lake (2 miles long x 1/4th mile wide and 20'deep) shared by many boaters usually sculls located next to Sun Devil Stadium. I am just so proud to be a part of placing in that race and looking forward to even more as we have come a long way! Aloha from AZ!
