Thank you for the starbulletin link and the clarification. I wasn't exactly sure where the canoe was from....but I remember seeing some of the letters "manu" on the canoe's manu when the Kaiola paddlers brought it to the club. I was paddling for Kaiola at the time...and I remember that "chicken skin" feeling. Mahalo

I think the crew Butch was referring to was a crew from Hawai`i Island. Spooky story.
